I’d heard about Bell’s from our east coast beer geek brethren, but never having tasted it, I was completely unaware of what we missing. Now that I have tasted it, I’m really jealous of all you beer drinkers on the east coast and midwest who can just pick up Bell’s at the local liquor store. Bell’s makes some great stuff, and we finally got our hands on some.

This is for Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, which is a┬ásupremely┬ábalanced and drinkable IPA using only centennial hops. It’s got a light, fruity, grassy hop characteristics and the malt comes through as well. Very easy to drink, although at 7% not quite sure I would call it sessionable. Bell’s Two Hearted Ale has a solid 100 rating on Ratebeer.com, and it totally deserves it!
